Poland is a big country situated at the centre of Europe with a history that can be traced back to 1000 years, and has a big cultural heritage. Throughout these 1000 years, Poland has been sharing diplomatic and cultural relations with Turkey for 600 years.
Poland, a country which has seen glorious times of independence and periods of longs invasions, has made an economic boom after the fall of communism in the country and especially after joining the European Union. Although the number of unemployed people is still an issue in the country, Poland is one of the best performing countries in its region.
